Spider juice, spider juice…
Juiced carrots, apples, parsley, and ginger today.
So, for the last couple of months I have become a juicing fiend. It’s quadrupled our veggie intake, helped to reduce some of my sugar cravings, and has helped Monster to cut his soda intake. I’ve been meaning to do posts every day on the juices we make, but, well, I have ADHD and, LOOK! BUNNIES!
Anyway, here’s some of the stuff we’ve been juicing:
I have loved most of it, honestly, much more than I even expected to, and I recommend it for everyone. A couple of notes though: I do not recommend juicing mangoes or papayas. The extractor destroys their delicate tastes. They do much better in smoothies. Also, I would only recommend juicing berries if your extractor has a motor control. I do mine on the very lowest setting, and I actually juice everything on a lower setting than recommended and get better results for it.
I would love to hear feedback from other juicers! Got any favorite blends or things to do with leftover pulp? Anything else I should be juicing?
