Another case of ‘she is way too young for you.’ seriously. It’s always some young, beautiful chick and this dude who’s twenty or thirty years older than him. What, exactly, do they (realistically) have to talk about.
Books, politics, current events & depending on taste probably music & movies. There’s a 17 year age gap between them which isn’t IMO insurmountable. Not that it matters since this is just a shot from the film.
Well, yes i know it’s a shot from the movie. I guess I should have been more clear—I really hate when I see this in movies. Not because it’s an insurmountable age difference but because it’s…. all you see. I mean, old-ass sean connery getting with young-ass catherine zeta-jones in that thief movie? WTH man. I mean, I say nothing about her being married IRL to a dude old enough to be her father. But where’s helen merrin hooking up with chris pine? they can make out and shoot guns and shit and it will be beautiful. i dont know. I feel like it contributes to this idea that old guys are entitled to a hot young thing? ahh i’m all worked up today. dont mind me.
